Recently, a man living in Africa came back from the dead after being attacked by 3 crocodiles on the riverside near his home.
The incident took place in January when Alexander Chimedza from Zimbabwe went to a fish pond near Nyamhunga town to catch red worms. Just as he had time to sit down by the river nearby to wash his hands, a crocodile suddenly jumped out of the water and bit his left arm.
Before he could understand what happened, another crocodile appeared and bit Chimedza’s right arm.
Chimedza at the hospital
The two animals continuously bit and tried to drag Chimedza into the river. Meanwhile, Mr. Chimedza felt another crocodile approach and snap its giant jaws into the tendon.
Immediately, the guy punched a crocodile straight in the eye and pushed his hand deep into its mouth, causing water to flood into the animal’s stomach. He confirmed that the animal drowned immediately afterwards.
Meanwhile, friends on the shore continuously threw rocks at the crocodiles’ heads, causing them to panic and leave.
Chimedza was pulled from the water and quickly transferred to Kariba District Hospital, before being transferred to Mutenderi Hospital, neighboring Zambia, for surgery and treatment.

Chimedza had several surgeries, including skin grafts and tendon reconstruction. However, his right arm was permanently disabled.
Chimedza seemed very sad and said that life would now become more difficult because he was the family’s main source of labor.
